Fones Direct (FDL) & PhoneLink  are wholly Kenyan owned company that have been in the business of IT & Communication products for 16 years.
FDL owns and operates well known local retail franchises, “FONEXPRESS” (inside Naivas, Chandarana and Quickmart Supermarket branches) & Phonelink Ltd  . Phonelink is one of the oldest dealers in the telecom sector in Kenya, having began operations in 1999. It was one of the first brands to be appointed a Safaricom Distributor in 2000. And FDL is the only phone retailer dealing directly with all 3 networks in Kenya

The Group’s combined vast branch network of 45+ retail outlets across Kenya,  ensures that we are able to serve the needs of consumers from all walks of life,
with genuine quality products at competitive prices, backed with an assurance of dedicated after-sales support.

The Group is an Authorized Dealer for all the leading brands of mobile phones. Furthermore, we are an authorized service centre for most of the
leading smartphone brands. This makes the Group a truly vertically-integrated national dealer in the East African telecoms sector. Moreover, such a set up
enables FDL to provide dedicated, in-house, after-sales support to customers which is unrivalled in the local market

Our presence in Kenya over the past 2 decades as key partners for several brands has been highly successful in managing the longest serving mobile device
service network across the country supported by more than 45+ collection points.

Dedicated Customer Management

Our business concepts and principals have long served us to understand our consumer’s needs and ever changing environments.

FDL houses one of the longest established Service Centre’s in Kenya (since 13 years).

FDL is currently the only national retailer with a dedicated, in-house, walk-in state-of-art Service Centre located in Westlands. This Service Centre includes a Level
3 ready ESD Workshop which enables FDL to undertake repairs in-house. The workshop also incorporates a dedicated ESD spare parts store, which holds spare parts
inventory worth at least $25k at any given time. The Service Centre headcount is 30 staff, of which 10 are technical personnel in the Workshop. This resource enables
FDL a repair capacity of upto 150 devices per day. On average, the Workshop turns around 100 units per day.
