FDL Group owns and operates of two popular local retail franchises, namely FoneXpress and Phonelink. FoneXpress has outlets located in independent stand-alone stores as well as shop-in-shop stores within Naivas, Quickmart, and Chandarana Supermarkets branches. On the other hand, Phonelink has been operating in the telecom sector in Kenya since 1999 and was one of the first brands to be appointed as a Safaricom Dealer in the 2000s.
The group has a vast branch network of over 55 retail outlets across Kenya, ensuring that it can cater to the needs of customers from all backgrounds. The products offered by FDL Group are of genuine quality and competitively priced, with a guarantee of dedicated after-sales support.
FDL Group also operates a regional Authorized Service Centre that handles repairs and warranty claims for most of the leading smartphone brands in East Africa, such as Samsung, Nokia, Tecno, Redmi, Infinix, Hisense, Itel, and others. This vertically-integrated setup allows FDL to provide unrivalled, in-house, after-sales support to customers, setting it apart from other players in the local market.
Over the past two decades, FDL Group has successfully partnered with several brands in Kenya, managing the longest-serving mobile device service network across the country. The group is supported by over 55 collection points.

Dedicated Customer Management
Our understanding of consumer needs and ever-changing environments has been shaped by our longstanding business concepts and principles.
FDL has been operating one of the longest-established service centers in Kenya for 13 years. It is the only national retailer with a modern, walk-in service center located in Westlands, which includes a Level 3 ready ESD workshop capable of conducting in-house repairs.
The workshop also houses a dedicated ESD spare parts store with a spare parts inventory worth at least $25k at any given time. The service center is staffed by 30 employees, including 10 technical personnel in the workshop.
With this setup, FDL has a repair capacity of up to 150 devices per day, and on average, the workshop is able to turn around 100 units per day.
